This charming, compact-growing lady's slipper orchid species is native to China. Our offering comes from robust cultivated populations, originally propagated from seed pods of a rare population in southwest China. Notably, this form has a relatively round and broad dorsal sepal, different from the more common varieties circulating in the U.S. horticultural market.
