There are many concerns about coconut crabs because their protection status can be complicated. Coconut crabs have a very wide distribution and can be found across parts of Africa, Australia, Asia, and many island regions. In areas with high human disturbance, their populations may be at risk and regulations are often much stricter. However, in many remote islands in Southeast Asia, their populations are very abundant and they are much less regulated. They are also commonly hunted as food by locals, which is where our crabs come from.
Please make sure you have a proper enclosure prepared before purchasing. Coconut crabs are extremely long-lived and intelligent animals. With proper care, they can learn to recognize their keepers and may become calm and gentle around you over time.

Animal came alive and well and love it however I think you could give the crab more space in the box during shipping so it's not crumbed inside but otherwise I love it

One of the only places online that has these cool crabs for sale. Largest arthropod in the world with lots of interesting features and fun facts. Not at all something to impulse buy but a creature that barely anybody has the ability to obtain and these guys have them! Worth the price and good shipping. Seller is very responsive via email.
I’ve been collecting amphibians, arthropods, reptiles, and fish since I was old enough to have a pet and I’m so happy to have found a reliable place to get truly one of the worlds animal wonders. Frognose also has centipedes, which I’m interested to check out as well, as I have one now and they make awsome, aggressive pets.
My little guy is in a temporary home now and he seems to be eating well and not too shy, and very powerful! I’ve heard of them breaking glass in tanks so I had to modify his starting 75 gallon with acrylic and plastic insulation. Would buy again!
