About this species

The Malaysian jewel centipede is easily one of the most beautiful centipedes in the world, with a dark blue body with fiery red legs in the middle that change into bright blue toward the front and the back.

They come from the highlands of Malaysia, where temperature is cool. Adults can reach around 20cm. They are extremely fast and can jump when disturbed.
